You know you wanna peek in my suitcase…

I leave for Blogher early Thursday morning.  I’d say “bright” and early except I’m pretty sure it will not even BE “bright” at the ungodly hour that I’m heading to the airport.

I thought I had my wardrobe ALLLLLL figured out but things keep popping up in my schedule and I had an idea to wear my skinny jeans with some cute shoes I found on sale last week, so wardrobe = subject to change.

Obviously, I like to have options…

And that is just 4 of the 7 or 8 pairs of shoes I’m bringing (see the wedges poking out?).

What?!?  I HAVE to bring my running shoes since I’m mostly running the BlogHer 5K on Friday morning and I need some flip flops for comfort after wearing all of the other ones you see here.  Right? Right.

I also packed my awesome t-shirt from my sponsor Canvas Press and additional denim.  Plus, I’m bringing more dresses than there are nights to wear them.  I should have gone in a day early just for the all clothes-wearing.  (I kid… kinda)

So…. what you see above is just a bit of what I’m bringing since I’m not packing the rest until the last possible second (also known as when Tim says to me, “Elaine are you packed yet??)  And, this is our largest suitcase in order to accommodate some things I might bring back with me. (I learned my lesson at BlogHer ’09 and no, I am not a “swag hag” but people just keep giving you stuff!!)  Plus I’m really good at donating. 🙂

BlogHer ’11 here I come!

p.s. bring a bathing suit or not?

p.p.s. NOT bringing my laptop since I didn’t use it but once last time.

p.p.s.s Can tweet from my phone! WOOT!

Linking up with Wordful Wednesday HERE!
