WW – A Place Where There Were Pumpkins

On Saturday we took the family to a local church that was hosting a little fall carnival and pumpkin “patch” (or as I say, pumpkin staging area…). They had a bounce house, bake sale, hot dogs, some farm animals to admire (no petting!) and a pumpkin decorating area. Oh and maze that was muddy but that did not stop The B Man from making several trips through. Good thing he wore his school shoes. Perfect.

Oh and a hay ride that took you around the parking lot for 3 minutes and was well… exciting for little kids who got to sit in a trailer on hay bales. I’m not knocking it, just saying that “hay ride” was stretching it a little.

The weather was quite perfect (despite a little windy) and I kept Baby K in the sling and the boys had a grand time running around and then eating hot dogs and the treats we let them have. They also decorated some pumpkins and cooperated for a few pictures. God bless ’em.

Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure (and mine…)

I told The B Man to hug his brother and told Little G to take his hand out of his mouth. Okay, so they listen better at age 5 than 2. I got it.

Hanging out in the pumpkins on a trailer and givin’ me some smiles!

Okay, fine don’t smile. Still cute though.
