Things have been kinda crazy in the Miss Elaine-ous household lately as big changes are afoot (of which I can only elude to at this time). Needless to say I haven’t spent much time reading blogs, commenting and twittering in the last few days. So when I did get on twitter for a few moments on Friday evening I was blown away by the tweet from my pal Nicole (@asmanyasgiven) that said this:

@elainea look at you, power blogger http://nielsen-online.com

At first I wasn’t sure where she sent me but then I saw the link on the page I landed on to Power Mom’s 50 List I thought to myself “surely not…”

But then as the Power Point opened and I scrolled down to the category of “Queen Bees” there it was, right in front of my very eyes. My blog name in black and white. I did a double or triple take and then called to Tim from across the house in rather loud voice.

He saw it too. It wasn’t just me.

And then, I had a mini freak-out session which included an even louder, higher-pitched voice full of exclamations and also, eyes-popping-out-of-my-head looks.

So, I’m not sure how I ended up on this list (like not sure AT. ALL.) but I’m most certainly excited about it!!

Please go check it out if you get a chance and then go visit some of the other bloggers that are on the Power Moms 50 List. I mean she is on the same list as well as her and her and her. Oh and her. Again, not sure how I ended up in the same category as some of these amazing women that are listed. But you know, sometimes good things just happen to you and this time, I’m willing to take it. : )

P.S. I hope all you MOMS out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Mine was busy but good…
