Who Knew?

I went to the BlogHer conference for many reasons. One was because I consider myself a very social person and I LOVE to meet, connect and well, talk and laugh with others. Especially those who share my same interests. What better place, really?

I also went (I’ll admit) to promote my own blog and get my site some more exposure mostly just because I love visitors and commenters!

But really, I had not considered the aspect of how many additional wonderful bloggers I would be exposed to. Now don’t that take the tassel off ‘n the corn? (if you know the musical that phrase is from then you were probably in choir with me my sophomore year in high school…)

Anyway, two of the ladies that I have found myself enamored with lately include Heather and Zakary. And because I now read their blogs and knew NOTHING of them before going to the conference, I consider that just one of the may benefits of attending an event such as this. New bloggers, friends and some great writing to boot.

Here is a favorite recent post from Zak’s blog, Shindig and here is one from Heather who writes at The Extraordinary Ordinary, that I like very much. Go visit them. And perhaps, you’ll be lucky enough to meet them someday like I was…
