Where a Kid Can Be a Kid #ad

August 7, 2019 by Elaine

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s. The opinions and text are all mine.

We only went to Chuck E. Cheese a few times when I was a kid. Each time we went it was such a treat to eat pizza, play games and get prizes! However, once I had kids and became a stay at home mom, we went more often with our play group. We found it was a great place where the kids could play and eat, while we moms could still sit and talk as they played.

Now, as a blended family with five kids, our lives are pretty busy! So, the idea of an evening of family fun got us out of the house on a Monday night (right before school starts). As soon as we arrived I was impressed with the new building facade and once we entered the staff was very friendly and inviting.

Offering the girls gummy rings!

The recently remodeled Chuck E. Cheese, here in Lafayette has a great new design which is very spacious and welcoming. The open kitchen has more of a restaurant atmosphere for parents, while still highlighting the fun and games that has made Chuck E. Cheese the place where a kid can be a kid for 40 years!

The new design also highlights the pizza-making process and allows guests to watch it in progress. The yummy pizzas are made from scratch every day, there is a lunch buffet each weekday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a healthy all you can eat salad bar with many options.

Ordering food is now simpler and faster, with self-service kiosks near the entrance of the restaurants. The new interior design has streamlined graphics and wood tones which create a calmer, more inviting, and friendly environment.

Chuck E.’s band characters are now featured on the wall near the newly-expanded Birthday Zone, featuring a bold wall graphics with each character biography. Chuck E. gives it a thumbs up!

With Chuck E. Cheese’s new, programmable ‘tap-to-play’ Play Pass game card system, kids of ALL ages can enjoy nearly a DOZEN NEW GAMES!

They have restructured the way kids can play and have introduced All You Can Play. This system helps parents be the hero, by giving kids free reign of Chuck E. Cheese and they can play all the games as many times as they want! My kids had 90 minutes (time frame chosen by mom and dad) to play any and all games in the game room area. They could hardly believe that they had unlimited play (and us adults may have swiped their bands a couple of times! hee hee!) It’s a great value and super convenient, plus the kids knew when their time was up, they were done playing – it’s that easy!

There is even an option to pause your play time while you refill your drink or take a potty break. No wasting play time here! 🙂

All You Can Play is a new way to play at Chuck E. Cheese that allows kids to play more games and win more tickets. And who doesn’t want more tickets? All the kids I know do! 🙂

We had a great time eating and playing at Chuck E. Cheese! I know the kids are excited to go back soon, after being introduced to the remodeled restaurant, new games and All You Can Play. This adult even had some fun playing games and “being a kid” again!
