So… Our Best Friends Now Own A Cupcake Shop!

Those look super yummy, yes?
I know.  They were my demise while in Texas a couple of weeks ago.
Our really good friends now own The Cupcake Cottage in Fort Worth, Texas.
They bought the business from another couple who apparently had their fill of frosting.
(does that really happen? I don’t think so…)
they were ALL saying that to me, btw…

Aw, just kidding.  They were just looking to sell. No WAY could they be tired of frosting!!!!
Anyway, our friends took on the shop and kept the same policies in place including very EARLY morning baking, which my good friend Claudia is doing ALL on her own (all while still trying to run a household and juggle the schedule of her two young boys). Plus! Her hubby is up nights doing “the books” and making the flavor schedule for the next day, after working his regular “day job”.  In other words, they work hard!
So, if you are in the DFW area (or even if you are not!), you should totally “Like” them on Facebook and follow on Twitter since you will get daily updates on flavors, etc. And, if you are near Fort Worth or in town to visit the parks/zoo/museum/TCU/Trader Joes (it’s only 5 minutes from TJ’s!!) PLEASE go by and grab a cupcake (or two, or a dozen).  They are SO. SO. GOOD.
Oh, and she shared her secret ingredient with me but I’ll never tell (then she might not let me have cupcakes  when I am in town…)
Congrats Clarks!  We love you and hope the business does WONDERFUL for you!!  Oh and congrats on your awards! 😉
p.s. Living with friends who own a cupcake shop and then bring home some of the “left overs” can be VERY dangerous business, just FYI.
