Organically Grown – A Review

Sometimes you just have to hang out in the nice spring weather while your brothers play on their bike and four-wheeler in the driveway.

And when you get bored with the toys Mommy brought outside for you, it’s time to try to grab all the grass and weeds that your little hand can grasp.

Wearing an outfit of the softest, organic cotton makes the experience all the more fabulous.

And keeps baby VERY comfortable and happy…

In the above photos Baby K is wearing an outfit by Organically Grown.

They pride themselves on making apparel that “is made from organic cotton, which is grown by safe, pesticide-free methods from plants that are not genetically modified. We support the organic farming community and organizations worldwide that are committed to a green, sustainable environment.”

And before being introduced to this product I did not know this…
There is a direct connection between what we wear and the effect it has on the earth. According to the Organic Exchange, an estimated 170 million pounds of pesticides, and 25% of the world’s insecticides are used in the production of conventional, non-organic cotton. 7 out of 10 of these pesticides are on the EPA’s “known” list of “likely” or “probable” carcinogens. These chemicals result in work-force illnesses, water contamination, and the devastation of farmland. All of these problems are eliminated through organic farming practices. Organically Grown is proud to be part of the solution.

And with words like this, I cannot help but be impressed with their company.
Driven by our positive spirit, and the heartfelt commitment to a healthy planet, we founded the Organically Grown Group. We were raised to believe that we could make a difference, and affect real change in the world. As a young and innovative company, we believe in your right to affordable, safe, stylish, high-quality organic products from apparel and home decor, to personal care items.”

The dress and bloomers I received are SO very soft and I love the embroidered design and perfect spring colors. I am very pleased with the quality of their clothing product and wish more companies could model their ideals.

If you are interested in clothing your children or even yourself in organic cotton clothing, I would definitely consider Organically Grown.

Many thanks to them for allowing us to try this adorable outfit!

Disclosure: Organically Grown provided me with one free baby outfit in exchange for the honest opinions I’ve given in this post. I was not paid for this post.
