Oh yeah, and one of my kids started Pre-School…

With all the “hoopla” of our little took five posts to talk about Labor Day trip to NOLA I did not get a chance to talk about my pre-schooler!

Little G started last Wednesday.

I was nervous because drop-off is SO not his thing. He did cry and I did make a quick exit. But he was happy as a lark when I returned. At noon (too early for my taste).

He will be staying two day’s a week until 2:30 but on Fridays I will pick him up at noon. However, he only stayed until noon on the first day because apparently they like to confuse us parents.

Anywho…

I wanted to remind myself of how cute and little he was last year on his first day of Mother’s Day Out. And I was right!

Seriously, what a different a year makes! He was still a baby last year! This year, not so much.

As a matter of fact, he did MUCH better at drop-off on Friday and did not cry at all as I left the room.

I was so proud. My “baby” boy is growing up.

And, I’m pretty sure this is going to be a great year for him as he REALLY begins to learn. We sat together on Thursday doing his alphabet train puzzle and counting wheels on the trains in a book. And the kid already uses the word “actually” correctly. My kids are so smart.

Just one of the many reasons I love ’em so much…

p.s. Will you please vote for my photo in this contest if you feel so inclined? I’m one of the 5 finalists and if you go to the bottom of the post there’s a poll and my blog is the last one on the list! You can vote once a day!! Thank you in advance!!
