New Orleans Part I, The Best Way to Ride

While in New Orleans over the weekend we found our best transportation on Saturday to be the trolley train car system (that’s what we ended up calling it anyway).

The boys were most excited to ride it, especially Little G. Our first ride was quite nice and just took us back and forth along part of the Red Line that goes down the river front (Mississippi river front that is…). It wasn’t very crowded and I was able to take pictures.

Later in the day, however? Well, let’s jut say the Green line is VERY popular and the cars were packed!! I had to hold Baby K on my knee that was on the step directly behind the driver for one of our rides.

But, all in all it was a great way to get around, especially since at times there was a fabulous, much appreciated breeze coming through the open windows.

I’ll have more on New Orleans tomorrow. We really had a great time, you know, minus the missing keys… 😉

Oh and I’m linking up to Mommy & Me Monday at Krystyn’s place since there are actually pictures of me and my kids together in this post!
