Last First Day

We missed “meeting” her teacher, even though she is the SIL of someone that works with Tim and we already know her.  I did not go to orientation for the school because one or two of my kids have been going there since we moved here.

So, she and I waltzed into her new schoolroom for the year and hugged her teacher and even though she clung to my leg for a bit (all new friends this year!) she was fine when I left and smiling big when I returned.

She’s a pro.  Already.

The headband did not last (I knew it wouldn’t) I was just excited that she agreed to wear it in the first place and break her “I don’t want anyphing in my hair, Mommy!” streak. 🙂

She took a GOOD nap yesterday after lunch, she was zonked, in a good way of course.

So… all the kids have now had their first day and the school year is in full swing.

Now if I could just get the Kindergarten-er to quit fussing about how hot P.E. is we’d be golden. (C’mon Fall weather!!)
