It’s The FLU

That’s right kids, someway, somehow I came down with the nasty, old fashioned flu and it is NO FUN! I don’t get sick very often so when I do it is MORE than a shock to my system.

This means I have to miss the party tomorrow (picture me throwing a 2-year old like tantrum on the floor right now, arms flailing and the whole bit- that’s if I had the energy, which I don’t, so just pretend).

On the bright side my darling husband made me a milkshake earlier and I didn’t feel one bit guilty drinking the entire thing.

Now we just have to hope and pray that the rest of the family doesn’t get this nastiness in their system (especially the baby that I am still nursing…).
