iPieces – Review & Giveaway

While at BlogHer this year I came across a booth in the expo with these fun little pieces that work with games on the iPad, called iPieces.  Basically you turn your iPad into an interactive game board.  I thought that was SO cool!

The kids and I got pretty excited when our own pieces showed up in the mail.  We tried the Air Hockey and Fishing Game pieces and both are a hit, although I think the air hockey a little more so.   It comes with 2 “paddles” to get the virtual puck into the net and a healthy spirit of competition.  Or maybe that’s just us… 😉

The Fishing Game comes with 4 “fishing rods” and you simply tap them on the fish’s mouth, once it is open to capture your fish, and then you drag it into the bucket in the corner of your iPad. The fishing game also comes with a little extra challenge since there is a flying heron that will come and “steal” the fish you put in your bucket if you do not protect it with your rod, by placing it over the bucket.

Check out video here for a demo:

Oh and my kiddos playing it… 🙂

Any of the games would make a great gift and/or stocking-stuffer for kids ages 4 and up as well has adults that are also big “kids”.  They are pretty darn fun.  And something different, besides socks and toothbrushes, you know?

Other game choices include Snakes & Ladders and Game of Goose.

So…

You wanna WIN one?

Of course you do!

Just leave me a comment and tell me which of the 4 games you think you and the kids friendly competitors in your life would like the most!

Don’t worry, if you change your mind when you win, that’s okay.
