F to the L to the U

I hate to have left such a “not so happy” post up on my blog for the last few days but you know, sometimes life is just well… that way.

I’ve been in bed since Tuesday morning with the dreaded FLU.

Full on fever, body aches cough, horrible, no-good, very bad FLU.

And the kids have been out of school because of Isaac, which ended up being really nothing for our area.  I mean, we have had worse thunderstorms come through before.

I know not everyone east of us has fared as well however, and my thoughts and prayers are with those effected in other parts of Louisiana and Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

Also, I miss the sun.

I am trying to think positive though and guessing that I am going to feel better tomorrow.  The boys DO have school so maybe life can start to get somewhat back to “normal”.  Our normal anyway… And I am guessing that even Tim will be happy-ish to go back to work! 😉
