Easter Ease

We had a pretty chill Easter this year.  I did spend quite a bit of time at church.  But that is a good thing.

A lot of times we go to Texas but the timing wasn’t right this year so we stayed home and had our own, calm weekend and a delicious meal that we all enjoyed, even K who doesn’t usually eat very much.

Also, we found out that these cookies are SOGOOD!  I recommend you not buying them because otherwise you will want to eat them all and that way there will be more for me.

I didn’t bake this Easter holiday.  Which was kind of a bummer for me because I’m usually more enthusiastic about stuff like that on holidays but I just wasn’t feeling it this weekend. No one else was phased, just so y’all know I didn’t terribly disappoint the little people.

We did do the traditional egg-coloring, hunting and stuffing.  That’s still a MUST in our family and well, always will be.

We also did the “eat lots of chocolate eggs” thing. 😀

Here are a bunch of photos.  And no, no family photo.  My bad.  Next year.

By the way, my “Gap/40” post, as I like to call it, got picked up by The Huffington Post.  They changed the title (of course) and it turns out people on there get a tad upset about a mother who likes to eat cookie dough ice cream while PMSing, writing a post about being 40.  That place is brutal! Especially the FB page.  But HEY, I’m on The Huffington Post so there! 😉
