Walking along the beach this morning my friends and I saw so many little sand dollars. I hope this is a good omen. We brought some upstairs to our friends, who did not go walking with us, so they could bring them to their kids. We also left some of them there on the sand, for others to find and pick up. We didn’t want to be sand dollar greedy.

I am back in Louisiana now; we had to leave the beach behind. The rest of this week is full of traveling (again) and getting ready for Thanksgiving with our families.

I am so very thankful for the time I was able to spend with my friends and apparently the sand dollar symbolizes PEACE, so I am going to carry that feeling with me the rest of this week.

Now I need to get back to writing because I’ve been seriously slacking in that department and I MUST write. It also feeds my soul, much like this past weekend with great friends and the ocean air.

I hope you had a good weekend too. And I hope this week brings more of the same…
