So I know many of you are wondering what it takes to pull off a “mouse” party. Not too long ago, I was in the same boat. But now that I am on the other side, I have to say, it was a great theme for my mouse-obsessed boy and I had a great time with it. And the most important part? He loved everything and had a wonderful time with his friends and family.

I made these cute little guys… Aren’t they so fun? Thanks to Mom of 3 Crazy Kids for sending me the link to the idea. They were a HUGE hit! Here’s the link for those of you who might want to make them yourself.
A friend of mine from my Mom’s club made this darling cake… Precious and DEE-licious and it was almost gone! (darnit…) Oh and the birthday boy LOVED it! Little G was all about trying to devour a fondant mouse and was quite unhappy with me when I took it away form him.

I think I made my little dude’s party special and I’m pretty sure he had a good time. I “stressed” a little over the details but all in all I’m glad he didn’t choose some mainstream, run-of-the-mill kind of theme. I had fun coming up with things myself and I can certainly say it was original, that’s for sure! Happy Birthday again to my sweet boy!
