You Capture – COLORS

May 14, 2009 by Elaine

This week’s You Capture is all about colors. I was excited to see that topic but life was CUH-RAZY this week so I had little time to get behind the camera. Or in front of it for that matter (which rarely happens anyway…). Am I off topic already? Yep. That’s the kinda of week I’m having. I’m giving “multi-tasking” a WHOLE new meaning people.

Any. way.

I cheated just a tad and included a couple of shots from the arboretum trip we took a couple of months back. But color TOTALLY means spring flowers to me. Doesn’t it to you?

And then there’s the rainbow in my house that comes in the form of TOYS and lots of them… (yes this pic is a little “over colored” but that way you really get the idea. and yes, that’s my child digging in the toy basket…)

And because I like to be literal, my youngest son’s “colors.”

For more You Capture fun visit Beth’s place at I Should Be Folding Laundry. I can’t wait to see all the colors this week!

Beautiful tulips. I like the over saturated color of the toy shot, that is definitely how it feels to have a house full of toys. I used to welcome new moms to the world of multi-colored plastic after they gave birth 🙂

So many comments to make, so little space to make them in!

    1. I really like your photos – especially the one of the tulips. I don’t think I’d realized how much I liked tulips until this year!

    2. That second one really does look like a painting!

    3. I <3 crayons! If I’d felt like digging through my still-packed art supplied, I was totally going to do this.

    4. Non-You Capture related – I LOVE the colors of your blog!!! The paisley is so pretty. Everything’s very girly, but not over the top. Beautiful!

    5. Another Non-You Capture related – Your hubby reminds me of an actor…I can’t put a name on it…I can’t even remember what I’ve seen him in, but he looks a LOT like some actor…Good story, huh? 🙂
