WW – Christmas Past

December 9, 2009 by Elaine

Before Tim and I had children of our own, we enjoyed holidays and other family times with our nieces and nephews (mostly on my side, since they lived the closest). My brothers have 8 children amongst them and the oldest is now 18.

Christmas was always fun to watch them open their gifts and to just get to play with them and then send them on home and get a full nights sleep ourselves.

In 2001 we were still a pretty newly married couple and at the time my brother Chris’ son was just a little over a year old and my brother Larry’s daughter was about 11 months. They were SO dog-gone cute and sweet. And so were we… (hee hee).

Of course, now that we have our own children these times are even more special. But I have to admit, right now, I kinda miss that full nights sleep…
