October 26 – November 1

This week is all Halloween themed photos from Thursday through Saturday. The kids had a party at their little school on Thursday. On Halloween night we went to “Trunk or Treat” at our church which includes a parking lot full of decorated trunks and folks giving out candy from there, as well as a carnival inside the gym. Then Saturday we attended a Halloween party at a local park. Hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday!

Here are the boys and Anna ready for school on Thursday which was party day. Aren’t they cute?

This is the “I’ve had enough!!” look!

A boy and his balloon (which subsequently popped shortly after we returned home…)

Hangin’ out in the lion costume.

Someone decided to be mouse instead at the party

    Hi Elaine

“Trunk or treat” sounds like so much fun. Holloween does not seem to be a big thing here in Australia (at least where I live anyway), but I am getting such a thrill out of learning about all of the great things my blogging buddies get up to. We didn’t have anyone in costumes come and trick or treat at our house this year. Last year, we got one knock at the door and I was so excited to give the little girl some chocolates I had bought just in case we had someone come by.

The Valencia Hotel sure does look swanky, just what you deserve for a girls getaway. I think it is wonderful that you went back to visit the house that you lived in for the first part of your life and how cool to have a photo standing oustide 32 years later.

I was happy to read that you girls are planning on having a girls getaway on an annual basis – I think an yearly event sounds like a perfect idea.

    Lots of love
    Elise

All of your kids are adorable but Little G is a heartstealer! You are SO lucky it is warm for halloween there – much better costume alternatives than here in the cold northeast!

In neighborhoods like those of my parents, I think young families tend to find alternate activities (like Trunk or Treat) because so many retirees on their streets don’t participate and there’s no where to go. Our street was pretty decked out. Pics on my blog.

I’d love a candy corn shirt like the one your little one has.
