Wednesday Weigh in Week 1

January 6, 2010 by Elaine

So I was determined this week to start eating better and less and get back to exercising. I’m proud to say I’ve done both and it paid off!

My starting weight was 176.8
And my weight this morning was 174.0

WHEE!

Down 2.8 lbs.!

I’m quite excited.

Now if I could just do that every week!

I’m gonna keep on truckin’ because I plan to be proud of my body by Summer. At least “prouder” (is that even a word???)

Current workout strategy is going EVERY Monday and Wednesday morning to the health club while boys are in school and Baby K can go to the child care there (she’s already gone twice and they are wonderful!)

Also, go on Saturday or Sunday or both and fit a home workout in one other day.

Oh and I’m sort of counting points again but more just watching my portions and what types of food I consume.

This is going to be great. I’m so excited to lose more weight!

What a great start! I went to the gym today for the first time in three weeks. We just mailed our Christmas cards and I included a picture of Husband and I (yours in the mail today, btw) from our little getaway last summer. It is my motivation to keep moving now, so getting back in shape will be easier. I was hot! 😉
