I’m sorry to say that I could not give everyone who entered a fabulous canvas from Canvas Press but I’m quite excited for the winner! 🙂

Number 18 means it’s Krystyn from Really Are you Serious and Krizzy Designs.  You know, my friend who designed the new blog here!  How fun is that?

Congrats Krystyn!!  I will send over the info on how to order your photo canvas ASAP!  And you MUST let me know which photo you end up using for you canvas, k?

And for everyone else, don’t forget that they are offering ALL of you 10% off through the end of July with the code “misselaine10off“.  Please use the discount for one of their wonderful products and thanks to everyone who entered!

Lucky number 7 is Nicole G. and here is her comment:

“What do I love about motherhood? I get to do all the things that I loved anyway and not look nearly as silly doing it w/ my children in tow. I can watch all the Scooby Doo I want w/o anybody razing an eyebrow. I can go through the toy aisle at Target or Meijer and browse w/o looking silly. We can sing silly songs while grocery shopping to pass the time. I can can forgo doing the dishes or laundry for a night in favor of playing a board game with my kids and be justified. 🙂

All that the fun I’ve been able to have with them far outweighs the worries and stresses that come along with it in the end. “

Perfectly said if you ask me.

Congrats Nicole! Let me know your info via email and I will happily send you the book and Starbucks card. And don’t forget to pay it forward if you can… : )

By the way, this is what my kitchen floor looks like right now. Yes folks, under the old green ceramic tile was this.

Horrid linoleum. What were they thinking when they built this house? Oh well, out with ALL the old and in with MY new! That’s what I’m talkin’ about! Today’s the big day.

We had a little scare yesterday morning when the original contractor bailed on us. Luckily since we are doing all of this through Lowe’s, they found someone else within minutes and they still came yesterday to do the tear out and even said they could complete the job in 2 days instead of 3! Sounds good to me. I think I am glad the first guy couldn’t manage it. God is even watchin’ over my new tile job. He is good in SO many ways… ; )

I will have more before and after pics when it’s done.

Oh come on, the floor’s not that bad. You could totally get away with keeping it for another, like, 30 seconds or so. I’m excited to see the new one too!

Yay – I won! Starbucks and a good book . . . does it get any better? I feel very lucky and grateful – thank you!

Yeah, I can see why you would want to replace the floor – be sure to post pics of the new floor so I can remodel vicariously through you!

    Well, those walls look nice!

Linoleum is the bane of all new home owners, I think. We’ve ripped out our share in our house. Hideous stuff. Or just painfully boring. Your choice, really!

In our last house, we pulled up 5 (yes, 5) layers of flooring to find the ORIGINAL unfinished hardwood floors! Why would anyone have covered that!??? My hubs spent a lot of time with them and they were gorgeous!

    Enjoy your tile!

Hey! That looks like the same horrid linoleum that was in my house when I bought it!!

I love the color of your walls.
