Very, Very Sick

October 15, 2009 by Elaine

Turns out mothers of newborns aren’t exempt from the stomach flu. It took over my body sometime in the 9 o’clock hour on Tuesday night (and you all know what that entails!) and I am just now feeling somewhat human again.

My MIL has taken excellent care of me – providing ginger ale, noodle soup and cream of wheat when requested and washing bottles so I can (thankfully!) continue to pump.

I hope to be back in the land of the living by tomorrow and also hope everyone else is feeling well.

Ugh, I hope you are feeling better. I can’t believe you have the stomach flu and are pumping. I got a nasty cold two weeks after Troy was born, actually he did too. It was terrible. He would only sleep with me holding him.

    Hang in there.
