I have three hours to myself right now as I lay here and type. Actually it’s down to about two hours and 20 minutes. I’m not feeling so “hot” today and Tim left for a guys trip/business trip and it’s just me and the kiddos for a few days.
We have plans to hit up a parade or two tomorrow since the Mardi Gras festivities begin this weekend. I cannot believe it is that time already, again. There will be copious amounts of beads and purple and green and gold in my house very soon.
As I look over my calendar I can see the busy of our lives. This month will fly by just like the last one did and next thing you know we’ll be asking where 2013 went.
It’s so crazy because I remember when I was a little girl and I would be waiting to go to a birthday party and those 2 hours before it would start would drag on FOR.EVER and now two hours are gone in the blink of an eye.
So, I guess I better go and take my two hours and do something good with them. Although I’ll probably just continue to lay here since rest will not come again until later tonight. And that’s okay.
Yesterday we took another one of our walks and I ended up in the photo too.
Life is good. But man it goes fast.

Sigh. Yes. Time goes way too fast. Your birthday party analogy makes me think about how my life was. I spent all of childhood waiting to be a teenager and then an adult. And it seemed to take forever. But now? It is zooming by. Too fast.
