I’ve had this recurring dream a few times where I am in a department store shopping. I am looking in the home department, for a vase or planter for my house and I have something specific in mind. I see many other vases, the shelves are lined with them. Some are colorful, others are drab. Most of them are a green-ish gray color.
In my dream I am getting frustrated because I think this is probably my fourth or fifth trip to the store and all I see are the same vases and none of them are the one I am looking for. The vases are fine, they are attractive and useful. Each one has good qualities, but none of them are “the one”.
You know where I am going with this, right?
Clearly I must be looking for someone else to fill the now empty void of love in my life (although, in reality I am not currently doing that).
I wonder if when I find him some day, in my dream, I will also find the right vase.
Only time will tell.
p.s. count yourself lucky if you never have to go vase shopping again…
I love this dream and interpretation! ! Don’t listen to all those voices, inside your head and unequipped friends. The love of your life is in front of you…in the mirror. When the right person shows up…it will be like “Hey…There you are.” I should know…I quit looking and it finally happened.

Dreams have always fascinated me. Especially reoccurring dreams. It amazes me how our subconscious comes out when we are at our most vulnerable. And maybe there are parts of ourselves that we try to hide from everyone, even ourselves, that we can’t hide from while we sleep.
Either way, you are doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing. You are focusing on you and your kids and doing what makes you happy. I know you will find what you need when you are ready. And I’ll be interested to see if that dream changes. 🙂
