Our Summer is flying by! Ooh look it’s already July. How’d that happen?
Thankfully, we’ve had some fun and I have not heard “I’m bored” too many times to count. Okay, maybe I’ve just ignored it a few lots of times…
Anywho, yes, we’ve done some stuff, maybe not everything I listed here (yet) but as I look back through my photos, I realize that we are quite enjoying ourselves.
No, there are no pictures of us sleeping in, because trust me, you do not want to see that. At least not of me. But we’ve done that too. Use your imagination. 🙂
Blueberry picking was SO fun, although a bit sweaty. I’m sad we did not pick more. We may need to go back…
The kids and I hit up a splash pad at a local state park last week. It was fun until the electricity went out and we had to wait for it to come back on… thankfully it did. And then it was SUPER fun!
G made some amazing art at “art camp” again this year. This one is now on display in his room.
And K had her dreams realized at horseback riding camp last week. She cannot wait to go back and visit all of her horse friends. She wants lessons now… ooh boy!
I like to sit by the pool. I mean, I do get in and then I sit for a bit. It’s so nice that the kids are old enough and can swim well enough now that I can get out and read or just relax. Ahhh….
Ice cream, post horse camp. That’s tough work feeing them all carrots and riding bare back! 😉
She ran, he did not. Really, it was too hot out so this did not last long. But lovely photo, yes? 😉
And yes, my oldest is missing from these photos because he left us, I mean, went to camp for two weeks. He had plenty of fun there and we are still hearing about his adventures and new friends, but are SO glad to have him home again!
This was after he had fun putting an “actual pie” in his counselor’s face! 🙂
Yes, even the dog missed him. Although you cannot really tell in this photo. He’s not much for expressing himself in photos. hee hee!

I love picking our own fruit in the summer! And sleep away camp can’t happen. I would miss them too much! I may have a problem.
