So This Was Christmas

December 30, 2013 by Elaine

It is not often that you see a rainbow and a potential pot of gold in December but see it we did, as the kids and I headed to Texas for Christmas.  Don’t worry, Tim met us there after his weekend of hunting…

As you’ll see in the photos below, a wonderful time was had with my family and even some friends.

On Christmas Eve morning I met a few of my favorite bloggers that live in the same city as my parents, for brunch.   I always love to see as many of them as I can when I visit.  There was no shortage of hugs and laughs and baby snuggles.

Then later, between the rather seamless trip to Christmas Eve mass with my parents, the “white elephant” gift exchange with the family and the excited children on Christmas morning, I must say it was a pretty good holiday indeed.

(minus the teeny, tiny sinus infection I ended up with.  And I know you’ll all be glad I chose not to share a pic of me laid up on my Mother’s couch).

Here are MANY pics to see how much we enjoyed our time this Christmas!

(starting with Christmas crafting! whee!)

The photos are magical, and I loved seeing Kristin from Two Cannoli there!
Also, does a teeny tiny sinus infection really exist? I’ve only ever had thunderous ones.

So many precious moments – I don’t know how you capture all the color that you do, but i think it has something to do with the way your own heart works. It comes out on the other side of that lens.

    Happy New Year, sister.
