So Ben and I got to hang out together at home today since it decided to snow/sleet early this morning! I love it when this stuff sneaks up on the weather people – last night they were just predicting a few flurries! Needless to say, it snowed quite a bit even into the later morning and all the schools, etc. were closed today. Ben and I went outside a little bit but it was just too cold to stay out too long. Here’s one of Ben in the driveway…

So Ben and I had to find things to do around the house and we played trains, a card matching game that he has, read some books and did some puzzles. At one point while I was making his lunch he went missing and I found him rummaging in his own closet. He pulled out this lovely pair of swim trunks/diaper and decided that this would look nice on his head. I don’t think it’s quite his look, but who am I to judge?
We’ve had a good day together and I even got some time to watch “Baby Story” on TLC while Ben napped. I started to get very emotional about one of the birth stories but otherwise it’s been a pretty tear-free day, which I have to say with one 5 month pregnant woman and a 2 1/2 year-old in the same house all day, we are doing pretty good! Stay warm!
