Random Acts of Udi’s

January 22, 2014 by Elaine

Can we talk Snickerdoodles for a moment?

Okay, let’s.

I love Snickerdoodles.  I am usually a chocolate of any kind fan but second place in the dessert category goes to cinnamon and sugar so that is where Snickerdoodles come in.  After chocolate chip, they are quite possibly my favorite cookie.

I know you wonder where I am going with this.

A box of Udi’s gluten free goodies showed up at my door last week.  Inside were bagels and crackers and boxes of cookies like Salted Caramel Cashew and Maple Chocolate Chip.  My kids were so excited to open the box, mostly because they love the Udi’s blueberry muffins.  But me. Once I saw the container of Snickerdoodles I was thanking the Udi’s Gods.  They make AMAZING Snickerdoodles.  I may have only shared one or two.

Once we sampled (and kept the bagels, muffins, brownies and snickerdooldes {duh}) I sent the rest with Tim to work.  He put the yummies in his break room since we wanted to spread the Udi’s love around.  He said nothing was left at the end of the day.  It either got eaten or taken home for a loved one.   One of the ladies asked where she could get the cookies around here and he said he was not sure.  I told him to tell her to check their website, that you can look up to see if items are available in your area by putting in your zip code. (Side note: part of the reason I was SO excited about the Snickerdoodles being in the box is because I cannot usually find them where I live – sad face.)

So, we committed a “Random Act of Udi’s” at Tim’s office and it felt good. 🙂

I wish I could give Udi’s Snickerdoodles to the whole world! How wonderful would that be?  Everyone’s bellies full of delicious, cinnamon-y cookies.  Although I did not share these.  But there was only one box, y’all.  I DID share much of the other goodies and I am so glad I did.  Hopefully others were introduced to the wonderful-ness of Udi’s products.

You should try some too especially the snickerdoodles!

Oh gosh, I LOVE snickerdoodles. It’s almost impossible to find here in Malaysia – except the kid’s snack section. So um yes, I buy kid snacks for myself. Ahem.

The Udi’s cookies look awesome! My husband would gobble up the salted caramel cashews.

I love Udi’s! We’re not GF, but we’ve picked them up at our local Natural Grocers when my MIL is in town. They are SO GOOD.

I would love the salted caramel ones… and of course the snickerdoodles. I don’t blame you for keeping them to yourself. 🙂

    Yum, yum, and more yum!

I’m seeing Udi’s around more and more. We used to be gluten free and now not so much – I may have to give the snickerdoodles a try!
