PSA – DON’T Buy These Jammies – WW

February 16, 2011 by Elaine

So.

I do adore this one store. You know the one that starts with “T”, ends with “ET” and has a “ARG” in the middle? Yeah, that one.

BUT. It hath failed me.

Tim recently picked out some jammies for the boys there and faster than I could say “Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious” there was a hole in one of the legs of the Batman set that The B Man wore, maybe twice.

Then yesterday I noticed this:

Now I know it’s hard to look away from the chunky monkey legs but do your best and check out the bottom left leg of Little G (his left, not yours).  See the tattered mess there?

Here’s a better look.

I can only hope that if any of these are still left at the Tar-jay that they reside on the deep clearance rack by now.  We were swindled.  DON’T let it happen to you.  These jammies are an abomination to little boys everywhere who want to pretend to be Batman or Spiderman EVERY SINGLE NIGHT OF THEIR LITTLE LIVES.

You’re welcome.

Also not a fan of target jammies. One wash and they feel like sandpaper. ;(

Ive had the same problem with pj pants from target, only they were adult womens! the waistband gave out and they also washed up horribly

Okay, I don’t buy my kids’ pjs from Target, so I’m just going to stay focused on those DELISH chunky legs. Love. 🙂

It seems like everything my son wears, especially jeans, end up with holes in both knees… no matter where I buy the pants from. lol

I have to totally agree with you, good strong jammies that hold up to wanting to be Spiderman every single night are so hard to find.

Don’t they understand that superheroes need tough protect-the-world fabric?

I have noticed the jammies at Target seem to be flimsy at best – thanks for the heads up, I’ll avoid that section always! 🙂

That stinks. But hey, at least you can get your kids to wear pj’s. Mine just want to run around in underwear. I have NO idea where they get that from.

I did have to tear my eyes away from the chunky monkey legs…so cute!

I think our very best jammies came from Old Navy. And JcPenny’s. Thanks to old school Mimi!

Good luck finding them. If not, better talk him into loving those pj’s as shorts. 🙂

Ah, that’s not good! Every little boy will wear those to shreds. Poor guy!

Boo! I bought some jeans at Kohls that feel apart after three washings. Feeling your pain.

Yep, same problem over here. Sorry! I do, however, love the organic jammies from Walmart…especially when I can get them on clearance for $3/pair. They are so soft and they still look brand new even though they’ve been washed a million times.

Those certainly are some cute legs.

And, if I were headed back to “that store” I would take them back…but I’m a pain that way.

Can’t look away from the chunky monkey legs. How do you get anything done all day?!
