Out With the Old, In With the New

July 2, 2009 by Elaine

I got my hair CUT and colored today.

I’m pregnant.

We are moving.

My old house is empty.

The contents of my new house sit in a trailer somewhere in Louisiana.

My ankles are SWOL-LEN!

BIG change is upon us.

A new house.

A new baby GIRL.

A new group of friends.

A new church.

A new city.

A new job.

It’s all happening right before my very eyes and here in my heart. All at once.

I’m excited and anxious and scared and well… just not sure it’s all quite hit me yet.

But obviously this is where God wants us to be. Here. Now.

*I’m linking this one up to You Capture as well since this week is Photographer’s Choice. This is definitely my favorite capture this week…

Big hugs! You are the cutest pregnany lady ever, don’t forget….We moved when I was about four and half months pregnant and it is tough, I won’t kid you. And starting over in a new place isn’t easy either (did that about a year ago). But you are kind and friendly and a great mom and you will do just fine! Best of everything!
