Onward to Bliss…

Things have been a little nutty around here lately.  G has been sick off and on with fever which finally culminated into a full blown, double ear infection.  Great times at the clinic today, lemme tell ya! (two restless kids, one sick, one harried mom, waiting for 2 hours, only one electronic device, bored after coloring for 50.35 seconds, lots of lying on the floor, 2.5 tantrums in front of other sick people, you get the picture)

Anyway, in the midst of our visit I also get a call that B’s teacher took him out of class due to a VERY red eye, which he has had previously this week and I just assumed was allergies.

So here I am, in the middle of waiting to get G to get some MUCH needed antibiotics when the school calls to tell me my other kid has issues (y’all, my kids RARELY get sick).  Thankfully hubby was able to save the day and took him some eye drops and all was right with that part of our world.  That man is my hero.

Oh and I’m counting down the hours until Blissdom and packing for myself for 10 days and my kids for 9 since we’ll be in Texas that long!
(they have Spring/Easter break next week)

And seriously y’all, THANK GOD for alerts on my phone or I would remember NOTHING these days.  Nada. Zilch. Zero.

Well except that my flight on Thursday leaves at 10:20.  I can remember that. 🙂

 Tim and I celebrated my birthday early with a date Saturday night since we won’t be together on my actual birthday next week.

I kinda had to “miss” my workout for an oil change on Monday but I had my shoes on so I hit this park not to far from the dealership… it was beautiful.

This may be my last post for a while.  I plan to enjoy the Bliss for sure this weekend and next week.  And I still have a lot of that aforementioned packing to do…
