New Michael Buble CD – GIVEAWAY!

Tim and I had the very rare opportunity to be in the car together ALONE on Saturday for a bit (thanks again to my MIL) and we popped in the new Michael Buble CD while driving. And amazingly enough we were actually able to listen to the songs without children making noise over the music and it was wonderful!

We agreed that we really liked his version of “Crazy Love” (the title of the new album) and the new song “I Haven’t Met You Yet.” All the songs are great but those two were our faves. I’ve always thought he had a great voice and it’s so unique and perfect for these style of songs. Let’s just say this one will be in the car CD player for a while (even though I’ll probably have kids talking over it at times.)

Here’s more info on the album:

‘Crazy Love’, Michael Bublé’s first CD in two and a half years, features two original songs along with his always original take on 11 standards from various eras. The multi-Grammy winning artist hunkered down in recording studios in LA, Brooklyn, New York and his hometown of Vancouver for the last six months to make his ‘ultimate record about the inevitable roller coaster ride of relationships.’ The first single, ‘Haven’t Met You Yet,’ written by Bublé (with Alan Chang and Amy Foster) was released to radio on August 31st. Additional tunes on the album include ‘Cry Me A River,’ ‘You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You,’ ‘Georgia On My Mind’ and ‘Baby (You’ve Got What It Takes)’ which was performed with Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings. The title song is a cover of the Van Morrison gem ‘Crazy Love.’ The CD closes out with a haunting version of ‘Stardust’ which is performed with the acapella group Naturally 7. The album was produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica.

  3. Hello! I love fall! I forgot to go grocery shopping, so we have no food in the house and will probably be splitting one can of baked beans bwtween the four of us tonight! Can’t remember the last time we got out to see a movie in the theater, but we watched District 9 at home and it totally blew — that’s 2 precious hours of my life that I’ll never get back! Yay!     I just read the book Revolutionary Road and it was so. depressing. Don’t even think about watching the movie while still in newborn land. There was not a single thing I liked about the book, and I don’t think I’ll watch the movie b/c I don’t need to be depressed.

    We had gorgeous weather here in N. Texas over the weekend. I hope y’all enjoyed the same in LA.

  21. Listening to Michael Buble’ just makes me happy!! Ever since I saw him on Rachael Ray singing “Everything”, I was hooked. I also got my 16 year old rap, country and rock listening teen hooked on Michael’s last Cd. We love to sit on our back deck with a big glass of ice tea and have Michael Buble’ playing, as we relax and share our days events. Love those times.
