Mabel’s Labels BlogHer ’10 Contest

March 14, 2010 by Elaine

I’m going to be okay with this, really I am.

This is a good thing. Because you know? I’m really passionate about my home and this will give me more time to concentrate on our home, the one I’ve created for my family.

You know my family right? My wonderful, hard-working husband and my three beautiful, sweet children. Yeah, I’m kinda passionate about them too.

And my friends, I’ll have more time to spend with them now as well.

Perhaps I could concentrate more on cooking, baking and the yard and reading books.

Oh yeah, books. I used to love books.

And cuddling my baby. My sweet, precious baby before she’s not a baby anymore.

I am passionate about writing too. So where will I write now? How will that work?

A journal you say. Like a real paper one? Hmmm. Interesting idea, albeit a bit antiquated.

And no email? So, this means paper notes again. Oh but I do love paper. And said notes have to be sent via “snail mail.” Hey! Now I need all your addresses my blog friends! Please hurry and send them to me now because I’m going to miss y’all terribly since you’re such a wonderfully supportive group of people who mean so much to me.

Oh geez and no twitter. This could get ugly. Who am I going to “talk” to all day?

“I’ll be alright, I’ll be alright, I’ll be alright…”

Okay bye, bye internet, it was nice knowing you.

Yes, it’s definitely better to have more time for my home, family, friends, cooking, yard work, books, and journaling. Oh and exercising too. Because I SO love that. Ahem.

Hold me.
