Easter Wishes

Just a quick note to put Easter wishes out there to everyone. I have much baking and egg coloring to assist with (see my bosses below).

But seriously, in the wake of the passing of Maddie Spohr, my heart is heavy and I find myself just wanting to be close to these little guys and my family.

My parents are coming for the holiday and I will be at church a lot, singing my little heart out. Although today is a solemn day (Good Friday) in the Catholic church, Sunday is a completely different story as we celebrate the Lord’s ressurection and our redemption.

I pray that Maddie is with Him now, even though in my book, it was WAY too soon.

  9. I have to say that everytime I think of Easter and the happy celebration I just wonder how Mike and Heather will do. My heart just breaks. My thoughts are going to be with Maddie this Easter.
    We will be coloring some eggs purple just for her.

    I was unaware of Maddie’s stroy but have checked out the link you provided. Beyond heartbreaking. Her family are now in my prayers and thoughts.
