Our winters are warm here. They just are. The temps usually only get below freezing 2 or 3 times each year.
Which I’m really fine with. Our weather lately has been more like early Spring or late Fall. 65 to 70 degrees? Yeah.
And as a bonus we have these beautiful camellia bushes all around the house. I think we have six or so bushes that I pick from (although some belong to our neighbors but they don’t care if snip from theirs too…) and then I place them in vases around the house.
They keep the winters bright and pretty.
Can’t beat that with a stick!
(that’s southern talk for “awesome”)

Stunning. Totally and completely stunning.
Beautiful. And I’m totally jealous. When I woke up this morning it was -1. The high for tomorrow is 3. I would take your weather any day. Expect maybe in the summer.
Beautiful photos! I’m so jealous of your warm temperatures. It’s cold up here!!
SO pretty. I’ll be right over. 😉
Ooh, so purrty!!!!!
I’m not going to lie – I’m jealous. That spring weather sounds fabulous right about now. I’d take it over the -30 temperatures we have over here (or as I like to call it, “death weather”).
I’m moving. That is all!
That’s why we love GA…spring-like-winter-days. 🙂
Gorgeous blooms, Elaine!
Beautiful! I wish ours would bloom already! We have tons of buds but no flowers. Your are gorgeous 😉
We are having mild temperatures here in Scotland too but with that comes lots of rain and wind – yukk. I love your phrase for awesome :)))
Thanks for you lovely comment on my blog – I’m glad you liked my pictures.
Very refreshing to see REAL fowers with REAL color this time of year for me. Thank you for sharing your garden with us northern folk 🙂
Kathy
I just wish it would stay like that and those one to two day cold snaps would quit coming through.
OMG- Elaine- That gardenia!!!! My all time favorite flower- gorgeous!!!!!!!!
It is going to be a while before I see flowers outside my door! But I enjoyed seeing yours!
These are gorgeous!! I only have one camellia. I really should plant some more. And I never think about bringing some inside. I need to go check by bush to see if I have any left for cutting!
I would love to have these blooms in my garden this time of year! Jealous!
Wow! Ours did an early bloom, but then it got cold again…not a lot of flowers here.
Okay, now you’re just bragging. 😉
We are expecting 1-3 inches of snow today and the windchill is -15. Awesome.
wow these photo’s are fantastic!! I love pics of flowers!
