It’s A Shrink-A-Versary!

Shrink-a-Versary Challenge with the Sisterhood!

Okay, so my pals over at The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans are celebrating the one year anniversary of their site with a month of giveaways and the next weight loss challenge!

And I’m joining up because y’all… I gots to lose some of this baby flab.

My current weight as of this very morn was 173.6 (I got up to 197 on my home scale in the last week of my pregnancy).

I would like to weigh 160 by the end of this challenge (Dec. 16th) and since I plan to start walking/running once the challenge begins (Nov. 9th – not quite 6 weeks postpartum) that should be no problem, right?

Do y’all think I can do it? I hope so because I have A LOT of clothes in my closet that I would like to be able to wear again. Shopping in my own closet sounds like so much fun (and much easier than shopping with my kids or stressing out about going out and leaving them all with the hubs…)

If you want to join us at the Sisterhood, please do so. It’s a wonderfully supportive and funny and fabulous group of ladies I consider friends. GOOD friends. So head on over and lets do this thing together! (please leave supportive comments, I need all the support I can get to stay out of the Halloween candy…)

I can’t wait to Shrink! : )

Congrats on getting down to such an awesome number after having baby K! I think you’ll be seeing that 160 in no time!! Just go easy on yourself, okay?!!!

    LOVE!

You are my hero for making your weight public! You can do this, and you will feel amazing as you make the changes you need to make. I obviously will not be joining, but I know I need to stay active (meaning go to the gym more than once a week!) and I just love following people on their fitness journeys. You can do this!

Are you still nursing? Because if you are, don’t go overboard. But I know you’ll do what is right for you and Baby K. 🙂

……….i wish i had the words to describe what is going thru my head right now……….

Just yesterday, in a flu-induced moment of insanity, I prayed about whether or not my “fitness health” was that important in respect to all that I need to do…on whether I should focus that way.

And then today, still in fever weakened delirium, I find this post…and too weak to fight the urge, I visited the site…and now I think I have my answer.

    All I can say is:
    Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-LAAAAAAAAIIIIIINNNNNNE!!!!

    *sigh* 🙂

Honey, I know you can! Just make sure that incision is all fine and dandy before you go all out, though, k?

Good luck, I’ll be cheering you on from way up here in the Arctic.

Of COURSE you can do it! We will all help each other reach our goals. You are doing great too for being only non-preggers for such a short time!

Glad you are on board! Woot-woot!
