Holiday Favorites – You Capture

It’s technically still the holidays and these are some of my favorite shots that I took yesterday during our jaunt through the Baton Rouge zoo.

It was a perfectly lovely day to visit bug the animals!

Little G was a tad obssessesd with his copy of the zoo map that I had to replace 3 times.

And the train ride is ALWAYS a hit! Every zoo in America has some sort of train now, right?

I forgot a stroller so K was either in a sling, on my hip, (hello holiday calories – take that!) or walking/running.

Towards the end of our stay the boys were able to feed some leaves to one of the giraffes! The B Man was all about it but G freaked out a little once he was eye level with her! HA!

Then as we left, K waved to the papparazzi…


And thankfully this handsome guy AND his brother and sister ALL feel asleep on the drive home. Now if only I could have put the car on auto pilot… 😉

    Even Canadian zoos have trains, we are getting with the times up here in the Arctic. Always a hit.

  9. Looked like a perfect day at the zoo. And I’m glad you are still getting waves. My girls tend to cover their faces these days when the pappazzi shows up.
