God Bless Digital Cameras…

After hanging out at my friend’s house for her kiddos’ birthday party last week I asked her if we could use her pretty backyard to get some our our own family photos.

And then we quickly agreed on a dual family photo shoot!  Sometimes it’s hard to figure out how to get your own photo taken when you are always the one behind the camera, ya know? 

Thankfully the weather held out (it rained later tonight!) and I thought I would share a few “outtakes” of my silly kids.

  3. I had so many outtakes last year that I did a Christmas card with a photo strip on the side of about four outtakes, and then the good pic was right next to it. I was so frustrated when we were taking them, but afterwards, could only laugh.

    Those are cute pics, even if they aren’t the good/proper ones.

  5. Oh, I think that 2nd one is the BEST! I would love to hang that on my Christmas Card wall – it would make me smile every time I walked by! CUTE.

  6. So much cuteness! I guess i need to think about my own X-mas cards–haven’t sent them in years, but I don’t have the whole pregnancy excuse this year.

  7. We did family portraits the other day. When I looked through the pictures later on I was cracking up because my kids make the strangest faces.
