Doorways – You Capture

January 13, 2011 by Elaine

I do believe the city/town (I cannot seem to decide which it is…) in which we live has a certain motif that it likes when it comes to DOORWAYS… Can you see what it is in the next FOUR photos?

And I’ll admit, these last two were taken back in November of last year, 11/10/10 to be exact.   Before winter set in.  Yes, it’s even COLD here this week!

And these are two different DOORWAYS at the same house.  Really makes me want to take a peak inside… 😉

There’s something about a beautiful doorway isn’t there? I love arched doors especially. Looks very pretty where you live.

I love arched doors. And while we don’t have any arched doors we have lots of archways in our house, which I love.

Man, doorways are too often overlooked.

I have to admit when I saw that first one, I was really hoping the uniform thing would be curlicues.

I LOVE doorways. Grand wooden doors speak to me…

I love, love, love the bottom doorway. I’ve often thought about building one much like it in the middle of a garden–a doorway to nowhere, but still beautiful.

Oh, I know! Arched and rectangular doors. Beautifully shot! my favourite has to be the first rectangular door. Would love to go through that one!
