I Need Her

July 28, 2010 by Elaine

Just Cuz

January 30, 2010 by Elaine

Sometimes I start to tear up when I see her face. Like right now. I just had to post this picture because I love it and HER so much. P.S. Larger picture is thanks to One Crafty Mama and her tip on how to change the size. Thank You So much Michelle! : )

WW – Tiny & Sweet

October 7, 2009 by Elaine

I absolutely adore baby feet and toes. Yesterday The B Man and I used these little baby girl ones to do “This Little Piggy” and he said “Mommy, they’re almost too small to do it with!” I love it. Link up to WordFUL Wednesday at Angie’s place – Seven Clown Circus.

WW – My Last Preggo Post

September 30, 2009 by Elaine

So today is the day before I become the mother to my daughter. The last full day of my pregnancy with the little girl that I am now counting the hours until I meet. Let’s take a little walk down Preggo Lane, shall we? Me at 16 Weeks – a.k.a – the week I “popped!”…

Sonograms are Better Nowadays, Right?

September 22, 2009 by Elaine

I’ve been wrapped up in expecting a girl. The clothes, the bows, the PINK, the polka dots (I love me some polka dots!), the idea of dressing MY child in a DRESS and it being well, APPROPRIATE. I went to our new dentist this morning and the hygienist (who’s probably in her early ’50’s) felt…

I’ve made SO very many connections through this site that I never thought possible or even dreamed of when I started writing in this space almost three years ago. I’ve been uplifted by the heartfelt comments left here and I’ve nodded my head voraciously at other posts I’ve read…

Gettin’ Ready – PSF

September 11, 2009 by Elaine

Above the crib it says “Every child is a story yet to be told” The other day The B Man helped me unpack packages of pink and purple and flowered onesies and hooded towels and sleepers and tiny socks. All the while telling me how much of a help he is going to be when…

WW – To The Baby Girl Inside

September 2, 2009 by Elaine

There was a time when I thought you would never be. But someone else had a different plan. I’d gotten used to the idea of our family being me, Daddy and your brothers. I’d embraced the fact that this was our little family and I was happy. Then one day everything changed. Daddy and I…

WW – “It Has It’s Own Weather System!”

August 26, 2009 by Elaine

500 Points if you can get the movie reference. I’m talking about the belly of course. I swear it has a life of it’s own. Oh wait. It does. At 34 weeks I’m feeling huge and my feet and ankles are big, swollen freaky looking things. All the time. The B man has felt and…
