Bai-5, Give Me Something Good to Drink!

June 4, 2013 by Elaine

I am desperately trying to lose a few pounds before my 20 year!!! high school reunion in July and lemme tell you, it is NOT easy this time around.

One of the things I KNOW I need to do but cannot seem to actually enact is drinking more water.  It is always an after thought for me, you know?  I do not have any qualms with drinking water, I just forget.  And even when I do remember and fill a glass of filtered water from the fridge, often times I will only drink half of it.

And although I am not anti-water I would like to drink something with actual taste every now and again, that is not chock full of sugar (meaning empty calories, who needs that!?!) or aspartame so, the choices can be limited.

Enter Bai-5.

Bai-5 comes in several different delicious flavors that are 100% natural, only 5 calories per bottle and are infused with antioxidant rich coffee fruit.  Each bottle has only 1 gram of sugar and is naturally sweetened with organic stevia and erythirol.  Also, the drinks are low-glycemic (meaning they are diabetic friendly!), gluten free and GMO free.

And might I add, quite TASTY!

My favorite flavors are definitely the Congo Pear and also Panama Peach, which I had to share with the kids. They really liked it too.  They also liked the Limu Lemon and the Molokai Coconut.

I did think that the sweetness factor was a tad too much for me, as I am generally used to drinking beverages with less sugar and sweeteners these days.

Otherwise, the flavors were really good and I felt like I was drinking something that was extra good for me and that the great taste was just a bonus.

If you are looking for a healthy and delicious alternative to quench your thirst this summer I would recommend trying any of the wonderful flavors of Bai-5. I am guessing your taste buds will not be disappointed.

You can follow Bai on Facebook and Twitter…

I was sent 6 samples bottles of Bai-5 to review for this post.  No other compensation was received for my honest opinion.

I don’t know. I’m still suspicious of anything that’s that low in calories other than water and spit. (my own of course). 😉 I will try it though only so I can come back and report my findings! So amazed by your weight loss progress! You are going to be so hot at your 20th.

Never heard of it and I am very intrigued. Thanks for the review.

    And?

Why is it such a struggle to drink more water? Sigh…
