10 Random Things

January 12, 2008 by Elaine

  • Tim and Little G are sickly with some sort of cold. It’s no fun to have a sick child but it’s REALLY no fun to have a sick husband (I know you girls know what I mean…)
  • I have been able to do some scrapbooking lately. I really love it and wish I had even more time to work on it.
  • I cleaned my house today. I don’t think our master bath has been this clean since we moved in.
  • Ben and I watched Charlotte’s Web tonight. What a sweet story. I loved the book as a child.
  • Little G likes to walk already. No, he can’t do it on his own, but if you hold both of his hands he will take steps on his own.
  • I like to consume Ghiradelli dark chocolate mint squares (y’all knew there had to be something about chocolate in here, right?)
  • I took the boys for a short walk this afternoon. I hadn’t exercised in quite a while and it just made me realize that I need to do so more often. For both body and soul.
  • I am addicted to magazines. I tried to clean a few out the other day, but I always come up with some excuse in my head to keep them.
  • I love to watch HGTV – sometimes too much. My favorite show is House Hunters. I could look at houses all day.
  • I think God gave me boys because I would rather play trains and cars than barbies.

We have colds, too. And I agree about sick husbands! lol I also need to get back to exercising. I’m having a hard time making time to do it. I also don’t throw out magazines. The kids and hubby like to make funny collages out of them. I haven’t seen house hunters, but I love watching the house flipping shows!

Hope y’all have a good weekend!
