Three on the Fourth

I never publish a post this late in the day but I got out of bed this a.m. at 6:05 to go to the gym and I’ve hardly stopped since.  Well besides the fairly relaxing hair appointment I had this morning in which my stylist massaged my neck during the shampoo and it took her .053 seconds to mention how tight my neck was and that she would recommend I get a full-on massage STAT.  I would SO recommend it too girl, trust me I would.  Actually, I would recommend a masseuse on call 24-7 but that’s never gonna happen so…

Anyway, ramble much?

The very pretty and exceptionally sweet Stephanie (I know these things to be true since I’ve met her, although her blog pretty much tells the tale too…) has been taking pics of her kids at the first of the month for a couple of years now and I keep meaning to follow suit and do so on the THIRD of the month since i have THREE kids.  But I didn’t get to it yesterday but somehow I squeezed it in today.

So here they are my monkeys, on January 4th (hopefully next pic WILL be on February 3rd) and yes, it was snack time…

p.s. have you seen my new ride?  Tim calls it my “bimbo box” and “grocery getter”.  I call it a dream come true.  Never knew I could be this happy about a moving vehicle!  There’s SO much space… (used to have 3 kids lined up in the back of a CR-V – NOT ideal…)

Anyway, I love her and I think we’re going to call her “Vanette”. He He!

p.p.s. had my first newborn photo shoot this a.m. with my friend’s two-week old and although challenging (and making my uterus do flip-flops) we got a few good ones.  I hope to share at some point…

p.p.p.s Anyone reading ever done a juice cleanse?  I’m considering it and just wondering…

okay, bye for now…

  1. I love the idea of taking their picture one day each month. I may try that too!

    Congrats on the new ride!

  2. BIMBO BOX?!? That is hysterical!!

    Oh, my God!!

Those little faces…I could just squeeeeeze. Cute, cute, cute.

  3. I had massive ambitions to take photos of my son every day for the rest of his life.

    Yes, that went well.

I do like the idea of a once a month photo – that’s easier.

    And wow, nice wheels!

  4. Totally jeal of your van! I want one, but they don’t do that great in the snow, so Jeff vetoed it. :(

  5. I love the once a month idea. I might actually be able to manage that!

Hmmmm… Let me know if he hear anything about that juice cleanse

  6. Love this

  7. I saw this today, too and OMG love!

Your photo is stunning {of course} and your new ride, equally so!

  8. What a great idea! Knowing myself, I would probably do it for a few months and then start slacking. Your kids are seriously too cute!

  9. I love your van, in fact I have van envy! Our Chev is a hunk of junk and is soon to be discarded for a nice reliable Honda.
Grocery getter, well ya, the glamour of being a mom!

A picture a month is a good idea but I am betting I won’t do it!

  10. You are making me want a mini van and that is saying a lot. Too bad it is David’s turn to get a new auto next.

I’ve never done a juice cleanse, but I did do one, the Dr. Natura cleanse. You can google it. I liked it because you could still eat and stuff on it and I actually think it helped. You know those little bubbles and bumps that you feel in your tummy sometimes and you think, oh that’s probably gas… It isn’t gas. Just check out the website.

  11. I’m kind of embarrassed at how much I love the name “Vanette”!!

  12. Hey there! It sounds like you’re doing very well. Gym, hair appointment, new car – good for you! Is that the new Odyssey? I love the new design, and imagine it’s nice to drive too.

  13. congrats on the new ride!! i’m kind of loving my new van, too. although i hate to admit it, LOL.

    sounds like a great day!

  14. Woohoo for the new ride! It is pretty nice looking too! Mine looks too momvanish for my taste, but what ya gonna do?

    Great shot of the kiddos!

  15. First, your kids are beautiful, but I like the nose pickiing one better.

    Secondly, vans rock.

    Thirdly, I’d go with VANessa.

    Fourthly, I want a massage.

  16. Very cute picture!! And yes, as you get more into taking other people’s pictures it is easy to forget to shoot your own- so keep doing it.

And yes, I never thought I would want a mini-van, but I love love my mini van

  17. What a great shot of your kiddos!

I love our van, too! I don’t know how you did three kids lined up in one seat! Two was too much for us!

I can’t believe I’ll be putting another seat in there soon…I should probably get on that:)
