She is so cute! I love the black and white photo! The angle makes me feel like I'm there in the room...so maybe that's a little creepy, but I mean it as a compliment :) And yes! We all need to cherish these moments...grrr. I am the biggest offender of this very thing.
Awesome! Yes soak it up! It is over way too fast. You have a great perspective. Seeing them off to college is painful but if you have great memories and know you did your best (which is obvious you are!) it is so much easier! I cried like a baby when my son left for college.
I have the same feelings about my little girl. It's funny, with the first you can't wait for them to reach milestones, but with the last you want to freeze the moments in time. :)
Hi! I'm Elaine, a transplanted Texan hangin' out in Cajun country while mothering my small ones (who keep growing!) Ben (9), Gavin (5) and their little sister, Katie (3). I'm also the wife of my smart, handsome Tim. I enjoy photography, writing, running, wine, chocolate and I tweet a lot (@elainea). I post about a lot of random stuff so stick around a while and check out the miscellany that is my life.
