But I can still push them on the swings (although, good GRAVY, almost 5 year-old, learn to pump your legs already!!!) when we venture out back to play.
And they don't seem to mind too much when I take a break to snap a few photos.
I also grilled a pork tenderloin while doing these other things.
Totally putting "Ulitimate Mulit Tasker" at the top of my resume.
You know, the one that hasn't been updated in 7 years or so...
Photos anyone?
I just love how these big leaves became like "bowls" for the little blooms! :)

I'm so jealous you have a backyard. :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a very similar swingset before! But really, what's with these kids not learning to pump their legs on the swings?? Ugh!
ReplyDeleteYou grill and shoot? That takes some serious skill!
ReplyDeleteUs momma's are multi-taskers ;)
ReplyDeleteSomedays I miss my DSLR. Ever since the arrival of my iPhone it seems to be sitting in a dusty corner somewhere. I love the look of your backyard! Hopefully I can have one soon too!

Very fun backyard photos! I love the swinging shot.
ReplyDeleteHa! My kids barely even notice my camera anymore. What does that mean? I'm sure your kiddos feel the same, Elaine. The verdant leaves in these pictures are so refreshing and I just adore the full shot of your littles playing on the swing set. Now that is just delightful perspective. :)

It is decidedly not shorts and t-shirt weather where I live. In fact, I just put a couple logs on the fire! But your pictures remind me summer IS on its way :)
ReplyDeletethese are beautiful! I love the feel of spring in them!
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful back yard. :)
ReplyDeleteBud is four and I'm wishing he could learn to swing by himself. Why does it take them so long to learn how to do that?
ReplyDeleteThese are SOOO pretty. Makes me long for spring to begin!
ReplyDeleteThose are great! I'm just starting to take photography more seriously. And I love the inspiration you shared here!
ReplyDeleteOh the fifth appendage. My girls know it well. :) And, holy cow what a multi-tasker you are!! Go you!
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way with my camera. Those shots are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteStunning, stunning, and more stunning!
ReplyDeleteAlso? You're such a fabulous multi-tasker!! Top of the resume, for sure!
xo
Wow...these were all really good. Loving that bokeh too! Come on girlfriend, you are getting REALLY good.
ReplyDeleteAnd multi-tasking too. Wow...I'm impressed. Oh how I miss mind!!
Hope you guys have a great weekend♥
You gIrl have skills! I am impressed just with the fact that you grilled let alone all of that at once.
ReplyDeleteLove these!
ReplyDeleteI need to learn to multitask with a camera like you. I'm always afraid I'm going to break it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! (And why in heck does it take so very long for children to learn how to PUMP!)
ReplyDeleteOh my word. That first picture is just like magic. Seriously. It looks like a magical childhood vision. Love. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your yard Elaine- such lovely green :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely back yard to play in!!
ReplyDeleteHey there, thanks for commenting on my blog. Love these shots you took but I really like the perspective of the one of your son on the swing.
