After chasing Kay Kay around church and remembering the birth of our Lord, I looked around and saw my family and our lovely neighbors who treated us to dinner, and I was even thankful for the spilled glass of water and the extra "hushpuppies" the waitress brought to our table.
And even though I was not with my extended family, I was with my husband and my babies and some wonderful people I call friends.
It may have been the "smallest" Christmas as far as how many people I celebrated with but it was definitely one full of love and joy and beautiful memories.
And really, I could not ask for more.
Hoping everyone else had a wonderful holiday too, "big" or "small"...
