Little G and I went for a quick walk around the block Saturday morning and I took my camera. There are some very beautiful homes in our current neighborhood and for some reason my lens gravitated toward the gates that we walked past. Guess I just thought they were kinda 'perty.' So, I thought I'd share and see if you think so too...
Those are some lovely gates!! I really like the last one.
I have a friend who loves to take pictures of doors - its amazing how boring a door (or gate) can seem when you stroll by it, but when you really look it sometimes can be quite beautiful!!
Oh! I love the first one! It makes my little southern heart pitter patter! I miss hommmeeeeeeeeeeeee! Hope you are doing well, sorry I havent been by to say hello, but I've been keeping up!
Stunning! I love a beautifully designed gate. When we were in historic Savannah back in April we did a trolly tour and they pointed out to us all the hand made iron gates. I was in heaven at how beautiful they were. The last picture reminds me a lot of the gates.
Why is it that we are intrigued by gates and doorways? I think, because we imagine what's behind them. When you look at a beautiful gate all kinds of beautfil thoughts of what lies behind are conjured up. Thanks for the inspiration :)
